Family Travel Dreams, Adventures….. and Reality
I'd seen it on maps but I'd never really heard much about Great Basin. What exactly was it famous for? Listed as one of the 10 least-visited national parks in the US, this sounded like the ideal remote experience for 2020 quarantine camping! So, I penciled it into our itinerary. It was the perfect way to break up our drive from Utah to Crater Lake and explore what this corner of Nevada had to offer.
The Amalfi Coast in the summer time is gorgeous... and crowded. How can you still enjoy traveling in this region and avoid the crowds? How can you enjoy this hilly region if hills and stairs are difficult for you? Basing yourself in old town Salerno may be the perfect answer!
Did you think that jet lag only made you tired? We also discovered that it impacted our son's insulin needs for several days!
